A Latch Speed
Latch control allows extra speed to be gained in the final stage of door
closing to overcome the resistance of the door latch, door seals, of airtightness-without
slamming
Also allows unlatched door to be closed quietly.
B Sweep Speed
The sweep control adjusts and regulates the speed of the door through
the main arc of the closing sweep.
C Delayed Action (DA)
(from Max. opening to about 65°)
When the door is opened beyond approx. 65° and integral delay function
slows down the closing action for a period, to allow convenient passage
through the opening.
This feature is particularly useful for hospitals, retirement homes and
similar situations.
D Back Check (BC)
(from about 70° to Max. opening)
Back Check control provides a strength of adjustable braking action 70° opening to prevent damage to door or wall if the door is opened with undue force.
Door stops may still be needed.
